Research methods - the following scientific methods were used in the research process: collection, generalization and analysis of the theoretical, methodical and legal foundations of the judicial construction and technical expertise on the issues of establishing compliance with the requirements of construction standards for the construction of water objects and water fund lands. Theoretical and practical results - in the course of the work, a systematization of the requirements of construction standards and rules regarding the construction of water objects and water fund lands was developed, the obtained data became the basis of the developed methodology. Novelty - the work is relevant, since there are no methods for solving problems related to the development of water bodies and water fund lands, and there is a need to develop a unified approach when conducting research. Effectiveness of implementation - in the case of implementation, it will allow to increase the evidential value of examinations, improve and shorten the period of conducting research, will contribute to the validity and objectivity of conclusions.
