It was determined that the image of home in the literature of the postmodern period is not least "fueled" by archetypal motifs and provides interesting approaches to its metaphorization. At the beginning of the 21st century, using the example of the novel Nutshell, we observe a certain transformation of home: it is no longer a familiar building, but a mother's womb. It has been proven that the archetypes of the child and home, while basically remaining the main, primary, most general images-symbols, undergo numerous changes in endless development.
