Research methods are spectrophotometric, sorption, fluorimetric. The evaluation of the efficiency of Eu(III) sorption by various forms of Mg,Al- and Zn,Al- LDH from model and natural waters was carried out. It was established that almost complete removal of Eu(III) is achieved on the carbonate form of Mg, Al-LDH by the precipitation mechanism. Fairly high distribution coefficients of Eu(III) indicate high selectivity of this sorbent in relation to the indicated metal ion. The proposed method was tested on samples of model, tap and surface water. The method of preliminary extraction concentration of phenol and its derivatives for their further determination by the fluorimetric method has been improved. The use of polyurethane foams as a solid carrier for the extractant is proposed, which significantly speeds up phase separation and the speed of analysis. It was found that the removal of bromate ions from aqueous solutions by adsorption with activated carbon is an effective method (removal of bromate up to 93%). When studying the sorption of Br- from underground water on BAU-A, it was established that with increasing contact time, the residual concentration of Br- in the solution decreases. As the concentration of Br- in natural water increases, the degree of its sorption also increases. The components of natural water reduce the sorption capacity of the sorbent in relation to Br. There is a significant improvement in the removal of Br- from distilled water by activated carbon modified with Ag+ compared to unmodified BAU-A.
