The purpose of the work is the development and substantiation of the rational parameters of the technology of processing and/or disposal of household plastics waste by using them in the modification of structural plastics. Research methods – patent information analysis; general logical research methods and techniques (analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalization, modeling); intra- and interdisciplinary research methods (organoleptic, chemical, physico-chemical, analytical, thermophysical); mathematical research methods. Modes of operation of tribocouplers and properties of necessary materials to increase their durability have been established. The technology of obtaining adapted polymer-composite materials, including the use of secondary components, their characteristics and properties, depending on the operating conditions, is substantiated. The results of production tests of machines whose tribo couplings are modernized with developed materials are considered, and recommendations are given for the use of the obtained results in production processes.
