Registration Date 06-03-2023 Organization Institute of Microbiology and Virology named after D. K. Zabolotny of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  The objects of study were nitrogen-fixing bacteria Azotobacter vinelandii IMV B-7076 and phosphate-mobilizing Bacillus subtilis IMV B-7023. The aim of the first stage of the work was to study the interaction of trace elements molybdenum, zinc, iron with bentonite nanoparticles, the effect of trace elements on the growth activity of Azotobacter vinelandii IMV B-7076 and Bacillus subtilis IMV B-7023, and to determine the optimal doses of trace elements for the functioning of a mixed culture of these bacteria. To do this, it was planned to investigate the possibility of sorption interaction of the medium containing the studied trace elements with bentonite nanoparticles, to determine the optimal concentrations of these trace elements for the growth of Azotobacter vinelandii IMV B-7076 and Bacillus subtilis IMV B-7023, to optimize the nutrient medium containing trace elements of zinc, iron, molybdenum for the cultivation of a mixed culture of these bacterial strains. Research methods: microbiological, physicochemical, chemical, statistical. It was found that the addition of bentonite nanoparticles to the medium containing zinc, iron, molybdenum ions was accompanied by the sorption of these ions on the nanoparticles of this mineral. The optimal concentrations of zinc, iron, and molybdenum for the growth of Azotobacter vinelandii IMV B-7076 and Bacillus subtilis IMV B-7023 were determined. The nutrient medium containing these trace elements for the cultivation of a mixed culture of Azotobacter vinelandii IMV B-7076 and Bacillus subtilis IMV B-7023 was optimized.
