The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of production thanks to the improvement of the conditions of keeping animals on small pig farms, in accordance with modern requirements. In the process of this work, an information search was conducted on the subject of the People's Republic of China, modern requirements for the maintenance and care of pig herds and certain veterinary and sanitary aspects of the operation of pig enterprises were worked out, factors affecting the quality of pig farming products were systematized, recommendations were developed for the modernization of small pig farms with closed cycle of product production. The list of issues that were considered during the research: - information search for the problem under investigation; - review of modern requirements for keeping and caring for pig herds; - separate veterinary and sanitary aspects of the operation of pig enterprises; - a comparative analysis of classical approaches and the actual state of execution of the technological process by periods of pork production; - systematization of factors affecting the quality of pig farming products; - improvement of the conditions for the maintenance of the mother herd of pigs, sows with litters, young pigs being raised, fattening herds of pigs; - economic efficiency of pig farm modernization measures; - recommendations for the modernization of small pig farms with a closed production cycle.
