Podgorny Institute of Mechanical Engineering Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  A computational technique has been developed for studying the thermally stressed state of the inner casing of a high-pressure cylinder of a steam turbine with variable boundary conditions and material properties that depend on temperature. A technique has been developed for calculating the creep of steam turbine diaphragms based on a three-dimensional model of the finite element method and the theory of aging creep using isochronous curves. On the basis of the finite element method, computational models have been developed and the stress-strain state of the fuel tank of the wafer structure of the launch vehicle has been studied, taking into account the elastic-plastic deformation of the material in a three-dimensional setting and real load conditions. A technique for studying the bullet resistance of multilayer glazing of aircraft has been developed. It is proposed to additionally armor the glass of the aircraft by installing an additional internal attachment in the form of a transparent armored block. A study was made of the strength of the hitch when struck by a bird and a bullet. A technique has been developed for studying the stress-strain state of a composite radio-transparent radome of an aircraft in a collision with a bird.
