The object of the study is a special chassis with combined power plant (SCwCPP) for wheeled vehicles of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU). The purpose of the work: development of theoretical approaches for creating SCwCPP for wheeled machinery of NGU. The main tasks of the SRW are: – analysis of the existing fleet of armored wheeled vehicles of NGU; – substantiating the requirements of SCwCPP for wheeled machinery of NGU; – development and theoretical research of the rational scheme of SCwCPP; – analysis, research and substantiation of proposals for the development of additional armor protection of light armored vehicles of NGU; – study of the processes of execution of special tasks by parts and units of the NGU using wheeled armored vehicles on the basis of SCwCPP. Research methods – methods of analysis and alternative selection, synthesis method, observation and comparison method, mathematical modeling method, basics of error theory. The results of the work are: – new methods and devices for increasing the maneuverability of the four-axle SCwCPP; – a theoretical basis for the development and production of SCwCPP for wheeled light armored vehicles of NGU; – recommendations for additional armor protection of light armored vehicles of the NGU; – recommendations on the rational use of light armored vehicles based on the SCwCPP when special tasks are performed by units and parts of the NGU. Research results are expected to be used in military units, scientific research institutions of NGU, as well as in the National Academy of NGU.
