It is shown that samples with different geographical origins do not differ from each other in terms of molecular profiles. The results of the molecular genetic analysis of male and female plants of white mistletoe indicate that the TBP method can be effectively used to determine the sex of this species. According to the totality of all the markers used in the study, it was proved that the white mistletoe plants growing on Scots pine and silver maple are two different subspecies, namely V. album spp. austriacum (Wiesb.) and V.album ssp. album L. A fairly wide range of species on which white mistletoe settles has been identified. Species that remain uninhabited even in the case of a high degree of infection of surrounding individuals are noted. The cytostatic effect of aqueous solutions of white mistletoe has been established, which weakens with decreasing concentration. The dependence of the level of cytotoxicity of white mistletoe extract on the host plant on which it grows was revealed. The possibility of infection with the marsupial fungus B. visci of V. album plants was established both in laboratory conditions and in the natural environment.
