Registration Date 20-03-2023 Organization State Institution "National Scientific Center "The M.D. Strazhesko Institute of cardiology, clinical and regenerative medicine named after academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2  260 patients with stable ischemic heart disease were examined, 193 segments of coronary arteries were examined. Calcinosis of coronary vessels is present in 14% of cases of intact and 90% of mildly affected coronary arteries. The presence of coronary calcinosis does not correlate with a positive result of tests with dosed physical load. Insignificant severity of coronary atherosclerosis is combined with significantly high levels of synthesis of CRP and pro-inflammatory cytokines, increased activity of humoral and cellular links of specific immunity. Moderate activity of systemic inflammation in patients with stable CAD is accompanied by minor coronary atherosclerosis and moderate endothelial dysfunction. The presence of coronary vessel stenoses of less than 50% and a single-vessel coronary lesion with one simple stenosis according to the classification of Ambrose J.A. associated with increased levels of systemic immune inflammation and high functional activity of neutrophils. Complex coronary artery stenosis is associated with a greater degree of systemic immune inflammation and a greater number of affected coronary vessels. Endothelial function in CHD and unaffected coronary arteries has the same degree of impairment compared to CHD patients with stenosing coronary atherosclerosis. Weak and moderate cellular infiltration by lymphocytes/macrophages is observed in 33% of cases of non-lipid atherosclerotic lesion. Intense and moderate inflammatory cell infiltration takes place in the area of young and intermediate lipid spots - in 71%, and in the area of classic lipid spots - in 83% of cases.
