The object of the study is the professional development of teachers of foreign languages. The purpose of the work is to increase the professionalism of teachers in productive teaching of foreign languages due to the development and implementation of innovative practices of continuous professional development, which are based on the principles of innovative pedagogical activity and internationalization of education. Research method. The set goal determined the application of a complex of research methods, which demonstrates a theoretical generalization of the results of the analysis of psychological-pedagogical and educational-methodical literature on the topic of research; study and generalization of domestic and foreign experience in the professional development of teachers; method of comparison and comparison; analysis and synthesis; structural and systemic method; observations, interviews, surveys of teachers and students regarding the use of opportunities for professional development of teachers; verification of received information; prognostic method - in order to substantiate the possibilities of using innovative ideas and experience of professional development of teachers in Ukraine; introduction and examination of the suitability of the technology of continuous professional development (CPD) of teachers of foreign languages. A number of constructive ideas, innovative practices and the influence of forms and methods of BPR of teachers in the conditions of internationalization of education were studied and implemented, and recommendations were developed to improve the quality of teaching and student foreign language competence. A unified technology of continuous professional development of foreign language teachers has been developed, which is based on the principles of innovative pedagogical activity and internationalization of education.
