For this purpose, patients were selected for participation in the cohort study. At the first stage of the study, personal profiles of patients were created. A significant array of initial information about the cohort participants, necessary for the further implementation of the planned work, was obtained and entered into the database. With the help of correlation analysis, Principal Component Analysis, factor and cluster analysis of the data obtained in the work, the presence of new mechanisms and regularities hidden in these data was demonstrated, which link the risks of developing asymptomatic and symptomatic forms of atherosclerosis with lifestyle, region of residence, and the state of the intestinal microbiome. Optimal sets of biomarkers for asymptomatic and symptomatic forms of atherosclerosis have been determined. Mathematical models, algorithms and corresponding software tools of our recently created information system have been significantly updated and developed. Our information system is designed to solve problems of correcting disturbed states of the intestinal microbiome with the help of personalized drugs of the new generation - pharmabiotics - and personalized nutrition, as well as for the implementation of machine models for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. In randomized clinical trials the effectiveness of using the proposed models and approaches to the prevention and treatment of forms of atherosclerosis have been proved.
