Registration Date 22-03-2023 Organization National University of Water and Environmental Engineering popup.description2  The object of research is the processes of water regulation on drained agricultural lands, these are interconnected processes of water movement in all the main constituent elements (subsystems) of the reclamation system in the context of climate change. The subject of the research is climate changes and their impact on the conditions of moisture supply of drained agricultural lands and water consumption of crops grown on them, as well as adaptive measures to ensure sustainable development of reclaimed agricultural landscapes in climate change. The aim of the work is to develop a set of adaptation measures to ensure the sustainable development of reclaimed agricultural landscapes of the Polissya zone in the forecasted conditions of climate change. It is based on the results of estimating changes in vegetation values of the main meteorological characteristics and changes in the water balance of drained areas of the region in modern and forecast conditions. These conditions determine the corresponding changes in soil moisture and water consumption of crops. Research methods – methods of general theory of experiment: analytical, experimental and statistical; mathematical modeling and machine experiment on a PC. Objectives of the research: - analysis of the formation and methods of forecast assessment of the water regime of drained lands of reclaimed agricultural landscapes of the Polissya zone; - forecast of meteorological regimes in the conditions of climate change and comparative estimation of retrospective, modern, and forecasted vegetation values of the main meteorological characteristics, determination of the main dependences of climate change of the Polissya zone; - analysis of the impact of current and projected climate change on the conditions of water regime formation and water regulation requirements on drained lands of the Polissya zone.
