With the help of a complex method using chromatography, investigation of the propensity of specified coal bed to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that coal of coalbed n7н "Sokalsky" of "Mine Megyrichanska" of SE "Lvivvugilla" is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion.
