Selection and separation of coal samples from coalbed l21 (Kyrpychivka-east) of "Mine “Centralna” were done. With the help of a complex method using chromatography, investigation of the propensity of specified coal bed to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that coal of coalbed l21 (Kyrpychivka-east) of "Mine “Centralna” is dangerous for spontaneous combustion. Based on the results of the performed work, recommendations were made and transferred to the mine.
