The object of the study is the process of ensuring the quality of iron ore raw materials in the production and processing processes in the conditions of a mining and beneficiation plant. The subject of research is the technology of operational control and distributed management of the quality of iron ore raw materials in the processes of open and underground mining and processing based on nuclear-physical, magnetometric and ultrasonic measurements. The method of work is the technology of optimizing and improving the quality of products of mining and processing enterprises through the comprehensive development of operational management methodology, synthesis of mathematical models and distributed management of the quality of iron ore raw materials at all stages of its production and processing. The mining and metallurgical complex makes a significant contribution to the formation of the currency reserve and the budget of Ukraine. At the same time, one of the most important indicators that suggest the effectiveness of the operation of this complex is the quality of the commercial ore and the quality of the concentrate. Ukraine occupies one of the first places in the world in terms of iron ore reserves, and at the same time, in many quality parameters, such as: the share of sulfur, phosphorus, silica and iron oxide content in the ore, it is inferior to its competitors. As a result, on the international market of skin tone concentrate and commodity ore, Ukraine suffers big losses. Taking into account the total volume of ore sales (30 million tons), financial losses amount to more than 6 billion hryvnias.
