The object of research is a set of institutional, organizational-legal, socio-economic, industrial relations and conditions that determine the functioning of the socio-economic mechanism of entrepreneurial activity in the agrarian sector of the economy. The following methods were used during the research: abstract-logical, comparative, economic-statistical and special research methods. The results of the research work are, in particular, the following: the definition of the production potential of animal husbandry is proposed, taking into account the possibilities of the external potential; the theoretical substantiation of the essence of the concepts of economic sustainability and development of agricultural enterprises has been improved; developed a methodical approach to identifying the potential for the development of social entrepreneurship in communities, etc. The research results were reflected in the authors’ scientific publications for 2021-2022.
