Registration Date 20-04-2023 Organization Zaporizhzhia National University popup.description2 The object of the study is wastewater from the complex off-site sludge removal hydrostructure of Zaporizhstal PJSC, which, after passing through the mini-HPP, enters the Kapustyanka River and is additionally saturated with dissolved oxygen. The subject of the study: immobilized bacterial biota and periphyton of the fibrous carrier of the "VIYA" type during the biological treatment of wastewater of the Kapustyanka River. The purpose of the work is to investigate the effectiveness of biological purification of water in the Kapustyanka River using the complex use of immobilized microbiota of the fibrous carrier "VIYA" and oxygenated water after a mini hydroelectric power plant. Research methods are microbiological, hydrobiological, instrumental, statistical and descriptive. According to the results of the work, it was established that a developed bacterial biota and periphyton is formed on the developed surface of the fibrous carrier of the installed stationary structures in the conditions of the Kapustyanka River, which contributes to the intensification of the process of biological purification of the surface waters of the watercourse. The novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time in the Kapustyanka River, stationary structures with a fibrous carrier of the "VIYA" type were installed below the HPP. Fibrous carrier of the "VIYA" type can be used by industrial enterprises and communal institutions for more efficient cleaning of both wastewater and surface water of small rivers.   Product Description popup.authors Gorban Valery Vitalyevich Dombrovskyy Kostyantyn Olehovych Tereshchenko Olha О.
