The subject of the research work was an expert-analytical study of the organizational, scientific and legal framework for the functioning of scientific and technical expertise abroad and in Ukraine. The object of the research work was the current system of subjects and objects of scientific and scientific and technical expertise, which are planned and financed by the main spending units at the expense of the general fund of the state budget. In the course of the research work, general scientific research methods were used. The main tasks of the research work were as follows: - organizing and conducting scientific and technical expertise of scientific, technical and innovative requests and projects implemented at the expense of budgetary funds, within the framework of international cooperation, government orders, grant support, as well as reports on their implementation - ensuring the organization and conduct of scientific and technical expertise of developments and projects submitted to the international competition of scientific, scientific and technical developments and innovative projects "PATON BRIDGE.
