The advantages of the methods for determining the structure parameters of a large number of materials with a complex structure (for example, metallic materials with dislocations and other microdefects, single crystals with large inclusions and other defects, single crystals with heterogeneously distributed microdefects and macrodeformations, non-crystalline objects) were demonstrated. It is possible to replace complex and long-term measurements of maps of distribution of diffracted intensity in the reciprocal lattice space with effective and express phase-variational measurements of integral intensity and its dependence on various experimental conditions. The results of the work can be used in the instrument engineering, nanoindustry, microelectronics, providing the possibility of increasing the sensitivity of diagnostics by 4–6 orders of magnitude, as well as fundamentally improving its capabilities for multiparametrical diagnostics of the characteristics of many types of defects, which provides the possibility of creating of materials with new properties.
