The purpose of the work is computer design of promising alumino-matrix composites with refractory inclusions (B4C, SiC, AlB12, Al2O3, SiB6, etc.) with different degrees of dispersion. Research methods are physical-mathematical and computer modeling at the macro-level (mechanics of a solid medium), meso-level (methods of fractal geometry), micro-level (first-principle calculations, methods of molecular dynamics, nanocluster modeling). The methodology of computer design of new promising structural composites with aluminum matrices has been developed. On the basis of the computer design method developed by the authors, a number of composite materials based on the heat-resistant Al-8Fe-1.5Cr alloy were obtained and studied, where ceramic particles of high-strength, high-modulus refractory carbides and borides with high interatomic bond energy were used as the strengthening phase. provided a significant increase in the level of their mechanical properties.
