The object of the research is the methodology of teaching learners to use the functionality of the «BAS Accounting CORP» software for accounting of the enterprise, with adherence to the competence-based approach. Research methods include induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, theoretical generalization, grouping, comparison, detailing, and formalization of information. The expediency of implementing a competence-based approach to the current consulting practices of LLC «Service Center «Accounting Systems» regarding the use of the «BAS Accounting CORP» software has been established. Based on the results of the conducted research, a theoretical basis and methodological recommendations have been developed for providing consulting services to the Customer (LLC «Service Center «Accounting Systems») on the automation of accounting and analytical support of enterprises based on the «BAS Accounting CORP» software when conducting training courses to improve the qualifications of accountants. The results of the research have been implemented in the activities of LLC «Service Center «Accounting Systems» in 2023.
