The purpose of the research: conducting a comprehensive physicochemical study of ion-molecular non-aqueous electrolyte systems based on protolytic solvents. Obtaining new, missing in the literature, fundamental data on the transport properties of ions of inorganic substances in these solvents. Methods and equipment: experimental (conductive, viscosimetry,) mathematical processing of the experiment. Results: new data were obtained on the diffusion coefficients and microscopic characteristics of the diffusion displacement length ( ), time and speed of transport of 19 singly charged ions (Li+, Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, F –, Cl –, Br –, I –, NO3–, CNS –, ClO4–, NH4+, Me4N+, Et4N+, Pr4N+, Bu4N+, Pent4N+, BPh4–) in water, ethylene glycol and other non-aqueous solvents at temperatures from 273.15 K to 473.15 K based on literature data on the limiting molar electrical conductivity of these ions. It is shown that the parameter correlates with the type of solvability of the ion: at values > ri (ri – is the structural radius of the ion), the latter is positively solvated, and at > ri, negative solvation is observed. Novelty: The main scientific novelty of the research results is the application of the parameter ( – ri) to determine the type of short-range solvation of ions. This is a certain step forward from the point of view of studies of ion solvation and the application of the diffusion displacement value of the ion for this purpose. This was done for the first time in world literature. In addition, it is proved that the parameter not only has a physical meaning, but can also be used to determine the type of short-range solvation of ions.
