It includes patients at high risk for mitochondrial disease, an early block of preimplantation embryo development, the absence of euploid embryos at the blastocyst stage, advanced maternal age, and oocyte maturation block. The data on the methods of controlled ovarian stimulation and conditions for obtaining oocytes at GV-stage are summarized and organized. Oocyte maturation was proposed to be carried out by a modified SPOM method in order to ensure proper paracrine regulation between the oocyte and corona radiata cells.
