The object of the research is the current problems of linguistics and Ukrainian studies in the aspect of their linguistic didactic potential in the process of teaching in educational programs of philological specialties. Research methods and techniques: general scientific (analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction), special linguistic (descriptive, component analysis, functional, typological, contextual, interpretive, linguistic and cultural analysis, discourse analysis), linguistic didactic (observation, forecasting, statistical).
