The purpose of the work is to develop proposals for the use of water-air explosion-proof irrigation on harvesters, including taking into account water purification and auger repair in the conditions of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the requirements of regulatory documents for the parameters of the irrigation system of harvesters, methods of irrigation, means and schemes of their placement on harvesters, means of water purification from mechanical impurities were analyzed. The mechanisms of MPS ignition from a red-hot cutting trace and from a friction spark and methods of calculating its phlegmatization were studied, and methods of calculating its phlegmatization were developed. A methodology for calculating the air flow rate in the work area of the harvester screws was developed, and an example of calculating the total water flow rate for the internal ejection irrigation system of the harvester was given. Recommendations have been developed for the selection of means of water purification from mechanical impurities, their parameters and placement schemes on the irrigation pipeline.
