The aim of the work is to increase the effectiveness of diagnosis and prognosis of the course of gastroesophageal reflux disease in children based on the study of the frequency and manifestations of CV disorders in children with chronic GIT pathology. The scope of the study is archival data (8,511 medical histories of children who were examined in hospital), 50 adolescents from 11 to 18 years of age of both sexes with a chronic inflammatory process of the GIT. Research methods: clinical, endoscopic, ultrasound examination of the GIT, CV system, survey of children according to A.M. Wein, ELISA test for total antibodies to Helicobacter pylori, ECG, Holter daily monitoring and blood pressure; statistical analysis (parametric and non-parametric methods). The results. Pathology of the GIT remains one of the most common pathological disorders in pediatrics. The most unfavorable changes in other systems and organs are an inflammatory process of the mucous membrane of the esophagus against the background of reflux disease, which is accompanied by changes in heart rhythm and conduction, mainly disturbances in cardiac conduction and the ST interval. Electrophysiological changes in daily cardiac activity were significantly more common among adolescents with chronic gastroduodenitis and peptic ulcer disease, in contrast to patients with reflux disease combined with gastroduodenitis.
