The purpose of the work is to carry out calculations and forecast the danger of sudden breakthroughs of methane from the bottom of mining workings of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining and geological characteristics of the mining operations of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» were analyzed. Calculations were carried out on a personal computer using a specially developed program in accordance with the "Instructions on forecasting and prevention of sudden methane breakthroughs from the bottom of mining workings". Conclusions have been drawn up based on the forecast of the danger of sudden breakthroughs of methane from the bottom of the mining workings of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE».
