Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining-technical characteristics of the excavation area 887 lava of the "Zakhidno-Donbaska" mine of the PSU «Mine Management Ternivske" PJSC «DFEС Pavlogradvugillya» were analyzed. The calculation of the expected release of methane within the mining area, air consumption for ventilation of the cleaning production and mining area 887 lava of the "Zakhidno-Donbaska" mine, drilling parameters and the technology of construction of degassing wells was performed. The "Correction of the degassing project of the excavation area 887 of the stratum C8n lava of the "Zakhidno-Donbaska" mine of the PSU «Mine Management Ternivske" PJSC «DFEС Pavlogradvugillya» was developed.
