Purpose of the work: to determine the natural and anthropogenic factors’ contribution and to substantiate the key role of high-frequency exotectogenesis in the modern engineering and geological state of the urbanized coastal territories in the Northern Black Sea area, as well as to create a scientifically grounded system for geological hazard forecasting. For the first time, the data collected during more the 50 years on geophysical, geodetic, and hydrogeological observation of the key parameters of deformation processes, hydrogeological conditions and engineering-geodynamic effectiveness of protective measures on landslide slopes in the test sites of the Northern Black Sea area have been generalized. Based on the author's model of high-frequency exotectogenesis, an algorithm to interpret and analyse the empirical data has been developed for the assessment of the coastal urbanized areas’ engineering-geological state. Quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the factors influencing the development of engineering-geological and geodynamic processes of the coastal urbanized territories in the Northern Black Sea area have been established. Regularities and mechanisms of geological environment’s response to the external factors, which can potentially lead to dangerous geological events and man-made disasters in the Northern Black Sea coastal areas, have been established. Recommendations on engineering-geological and geo-ecological monitoring organizing and conducting in the urbanized coastal territories have been developed.
