The results of the research conducted during the third year of the project are represented in this report. In particular, using the ORBIS numerical code, the stochastic collisionless motion of thermonuclear alpha particles in a thermonuclear reactor-stellarator was visualized for the first time; the key parameters determining the influence of stochastic diffusion on the confinement of energetic ions were determined, which outlines the way to further optimization of Wendelstein-type stellarators. The method proposed in the previous year to diagnose the profile of the magnetic number of revolutions in tokamaks from observations of the temperature and density of electrons during sawtooth oscillations - a typical form of magnetohydrodynamic activity of plasma in these devices - has been improved. It is shown that linearly stable toroidal Alfvén modes can be excited nonlinearly by ion drift-temperature turbulence through inverse Compton scattering by energetic ions; this leads to an improvement in plasma energy confinement. Applying the theory of spatial momentum channeling in a plasma with energetic ions, we obtained expressions for the forces leading to inhomogeneous rotation of the plasma and suppression of plasma turbulence; estimates of these forces were made in the ITER tokamak reactor. The results of the carried out research were published in leading international journals. They also correspond to the European program on controlled thermonuclear fusion (EUROfusion).
