Research methods - for numerical analysis, finite element methods (FEM), integral equations, division of massive conductors into elementary cells (M-С) and analytical method are used in the work; physical experiment. For research, the concept of a numerical experiment was chosen, which is based on a system analysis in 2D/3D formats of multiphysical processes with simultaneous processing of the melt with different types of currents. Three modeling methods are applied, which are adapted to the conditions of the problem under investigation. The conditions were obtained by comparing the data of the verified results, under which a significantly non-homogeneous superposition of electromagnetic fields is formed in the melt and, as a result, a more effective thermoforce effect on the processing object. On the basis of these conditions, physical experiments were performed on the treatment of the liquid state of the AK7 alloy with alternating and pulsating currents at the same time. The obtained results proved the promisingness of the proposed method. Thus, compared to the control sample, the value of σv is increased by 13%, and the relative elongation is 1.5 times. In contrast to the action of one type of current, the presence of a relative narrowing at the level of 4.4% and a 3-fold decrease in the total value of the energy density used for processing was recorded.
