The object of the research is documents in electronic form, transferred for permanent storage from legal entities - sources of procurement, to archival institutions. The purpose of the work is to determine the general requirements for receiving and transmitting documents in electronic form for permanent storage and to develop a methodology for organizing this process based on the generalization of the provisions of legislative, regulatory and legal acts, regulatory documents, methodological developments and practical experience of domestic and foreign archival institutions. Research methods – scientific analysis and synthesis, comparative analysis, modeling, structural and functional analysis, generalization. As a result of the implementation of the NDR, based on the received scientific results, methodical recommendations were prepared for the acceptance and transmission of documents in electronic form for permanent storage. The results of the conducted research will be used in the practical activities of archival institutions during the reception and transmission of documents in electronic form for permanent storage from legal entities and individuals - sources of collection.
