The object of research is the power unit of the experimental stand for electrohydropulse processing of materials. Research methods is physical experiments in the laboratory. During the work the peculiarities of the architecture of the power plant were revealed. The concept of the energy unit of the laboratory stand for electrohydropulse processing of materials has been developed. The concept consists in using the high-voltage principle of energy transformation in an energy node based on traditional elements of charging and discharging circuits. The adopted architecture of the laboratory stand potentially allows to ensure the technical requirements of the Customer and the smooth running of the node within 1 min to 5 min with the discharge parameters specified in the requirements specification of the contract, to minimize the total volume of the energy node.
