LOW-PASS FILTERS, THREE-DIMENSIONAL STUB. The object of research is the characteristics of three-dimensional stubs and low-pass filters. The purpose of the work is to increase the selectivity of low-pass frequency filters using three-dimensional stubs. Research methods — development of models and samples, one- and three-dimensional computer modeling of microstrip structures and low-pass filters based on them, experimental studies of structures and filters samples. Designs of three-dimensional stubs and low-pass filters based on them are proposed. A comparison of the parameters of traditional two-dimensional and three-dimensional stubs was made. A one-dimensional model of a three-dimensional stub is proposed, which characterizes the stub by equivalent wave impedance and relative permittivity. It is advisable to use the one-dimensional model as a first approximation model during the design and computer simulation of microstrip filters based on capacitive three-dimensional stubs. Three-dimensional modeling of structures and filters has been performed, which indicates a noticeable improvement the characteristics compared to traditional structures. The design of the low-pass filter based on three-dimensional stubs has been optimized. An experimental study of a three-dimensional stub samples and a low-pass filter based on three-dimensional stubs was performed. The results of the SRW are implemented in the educational process in education disciplines, during the preparation of dissertation and attestation works at the Radioengineering Faculty Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
