The purpose of the research is to conduct theoretical research with the subsequentapplication of the obtained results in engineering tasks. The objects of research are a drilling tool, a class of functions that are holomorphic on theintersections in a certain direction, mathematical thinking. Research methods are mathematical models, methods of mathematical physics, methods ofmultidimensional complex analysis, methods of probability theory, and mathematical statistics. The degree of implementation – computer programs and instructional documents havebeen developed, which have been handed over to the enterprises of the oil and gas complex. The novelty of the obtained result is the equation of multifactor empirical models of therelative torque component on the bit was obtained at the first time; new sufficient conditions for theboundedness of the L-index in the direction for the composition of entire functions from severalcomplex variables using the logarithmic criterion were found.
