The purpose of the work is the introduction into the educational process of pedagogical technologies and educational models that contribute to the formation of the research com-ponent of mathematical competence of students of information technology, engineering, pedagogical and economic specialties; implementation of the results of theoretical research on mathematical modeling in the tasks of engineering and fundamental natural sciences into the process of training students of higher education; implementation of educational projects with the plot of a real production, economic process during the study of mathematical disciplines, confirmation of the results of implementation through a pedagogical experiment. Research methods are methods of the theoretical and theoretical-empirical levels, in particular, systemic approaches to the development and implementation of pedagogical technologies and educational models, which contribute to the formation of research competence as a component of the mathematical competence of students of higher education, as well as special methods of mathematical modeling of real economic and information technology processes. The results of the NDR are the introduction of pedagogical technologies and learning models into the process of training students of higher education, aimed at improving the quality of education, in particular, the formation of the research component of mathematical competence, the formation of innovative mathematical experience of students of information technology, economic and pedagogical specialties in the guidelines of the development of the European research space.
