The purpose of the research: increasing the efficiency of the use of exothermic mixtures in fluxes, which ensure an increase in the productivity of electroslag processes. Research methods: literary analysis of existing methods and studies, research on the process of electroslag remelting at different modes of ESM, research on the quality of the obtained workpieces. Theoretical results: The technological processes of manufacturing various workpieces using the method of "hard" start of the ESM with the use of exothermic fluxes according to mono- and bifilar schemes of process have been improved.
