Theoretical and practical results and novelty: The combined effect of axially applied electric and magnetic fields on the electronic properties of cone-shaped quantum dots was calculated and analyzed firstly. Calculated positions of electrons and holes along the axial axis, the overlap integral, the lifetime of the exciton ground state, and the Coulomb interaction of the exciton; all these properties are obtained as a function of applied electric and magnetic fields. Implementation efficiency: the acquired new knowledge helps to improve the understanding of the optical and electrophysical properties of the studied heterostructures.
