The object of research is the processes of design, construction and operation of gas and oil pipelines and gas storage facilities, taking into account energy efficiency requirements. The purpose of the work is to study the processes of design, construction and operation of hydrocarbon pipeline transport systems to assess energy consumption and ensure their operability by developing new technologies and improving existing ones. The research method is the collection and analysis of existing foreign and domestic publications on the design, construction and operation of gas and oil pipelines and gas storage facilities, taking into account energy efficiency requirements. Performing analytical, laboratory and computer modeling of technological processes related to the transportation, distribution and storage of hydrocarbon energy resources. The obtained results are useful for forecasting the operating modes of oil and gas pipeline systems under conditions of incomplete loading, namely in the development of energy-efficient operating modes of compressor stations, linear sections of the gas transmission system and distribution gas pipelines with the possibility of partial transfer to transportation of other alternative types of product. The research results are useful for designing minimally energy-consuming and erosion-resistant complex pipeline systems and managing their energy efficiency.
