The subject of the research is ways of improving the system of joint military training of reserve officers for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking into account the experience of repelling Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and the experience of training reserve officers in the leading countries of the world. The purpose of the work is to develop expedient ways of improving the system of general military training of reserve officers for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Research methods - the research principles of historicism, objectivity, comprehensiveness, determinism, and complexity are applied to realize the tasks of scientific research work. To study facts, events and processes, the research uses general and special methods of scientific knowledge: analysis and synthesis, methods of comparison of phenomena and processes and scientific generalization, logical analysis of knowledge and system approach. Research results: an analysis of the reserve officer training system, historical aspect and world experience was carried out; factors influencing the effectiveness of the system of joint military training of reserve officers were investigated; systematized problematic issues of the system of joint military training of reserve officers at this time; the methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of the system of joint military training of reserve officers has been improved; recommendations for improving the combined military training of reserve officers are defined; the project "Concepts for improving the system of combined military training of reserve officers for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" for the period 2024‒2028 was developed. The scientific novelty of the work consists in conducting an analysis of the combined military training of reserve officers, taking into account the experience of repelling a large-scale invasion of Russia.
