According to the scientific topics of the department, department members publish scientific articles in specialized scientific journals, scientific-methodological and scientific-journalistic works. During the reporting year, a number of scientific theses were published in the collection of scientific works of Faculty of Food Technologies and Service Sphere "Innovations and technologies in the field of services and food". Scientific articles on relevant topics were submitted for publication. Lecturers have published their articles on the department's issues in scientific and specialized periodicals of Ukraine. The main problematic issues in tourism and the activities of hotel and restaurant business enterprises have been identified. Attention is focused on the importance of training industry specialists, taking into account the need to acquire professional skills for a risk-oriented approach in business. The directions of the methodological base of business introduction adapted to the realities of the market economy are proposed, as well as the definition of indicators of strategic planning. The scientific works of the department's lecturers have both theoretical and practical significance.
