It was established that thanks to the control of the periodic short-term action of the cutting force, it is possible to significantly reduce the amplitude of system oscillations and achieve high processing accuracy. It is shown that the cutting temperature during blade processing is lower than during grinding due to a reduction in the energy intensity of processing and the presence of a clearly expressed discontinuous nature of the chip formation process. The obtained theoretical solutions were confirmed experimentally, which indicates their reliability and the possibility of practical application. It is shown that the use of modern prefabricated carbide tools with wear-resistant coatings on a high-speed metal cutting machine with numerical program control of the "machining center" type for high-speed milling operations of products made of materials with increased physical and mechanical properties allows to increase processing productivity up to 10 times and approximately to reduce the processing cost by the same number of times. At the same time, high accuracy and quality indicators of the processed surfaces of the products are ensured and the working conditions of the machine tool workers are improved thanks to the increase in the level of ergonomics, ecology and culture of production. The main results of the research were implemented in the educational process of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics and implemented in the activities of the Limited Liability Company "VARITEK" (Dnipro).
