A content management system for building a portfolio site was considered and selected, a study of modern methods of site development was carried out, an algorithm for choosing a site template was created, which is the basis of the portfolio design. The process of developing a site-portfolio of a video operator is given. The study includes an overview and analysis of existing approaches to site development, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each approach: site development using a constructor, site development using content management systems, site development using markup and programming languages. As a result, the site development technology using a content management system was justified.
