The development of national standards for means of active defense was carried out within the scope of the activities of the Technical Committee on Standardization "Special Purpose Products" (TK 184), appointed to perform these works by order of the National Standardization Body (NSO) - State Enterprise "Ukrainian Research and Training Center for Standardization Problems , certification and quality" (SE "UkrNDNC") dated March 30, 2017 No. 62. The result of the work is the development and adoption of the following national standards by the orders of the National Assembly: DSTU 9070:2021 "Means of personal protection. Shields for protection of hands and feet. General technical conditions", DSTU 9124:2021 "Means of personal protection. Shields are shockproof. General technical conditions", DSTU 9131:2021 "Means of active defense. Gas canisters, equipped with substances of lachrymatory and irritating action. General technical conditions" The work was carried out in accordance with the National Standardization Plan and the Plan for Scientific Research and Scientific and Technical (Experimental) Development of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, taking into account the requirements specified in international European standards in this field of technical regulation (see Appendix A).
