The object of research is sea waters and the Black Sea ecosystem. The purpose of the work is to obtain data to solve the problems of assessing, diagnosing and forecasting the state of the Black Sea and Azov Sea ecosystems in accordance with the requirements of the MSFD in 2022. Research methods – is an analysis based on traditional methods of analytical generalization of data and literature. Key results of the work: 1) Preparation of the UkrSCES research vessel for marine environmental monitoring; 2) The program of the scientific expedition for environmental monitoring within the framework of the implementation of the Program of State Monitoring of Coastal and Marine Waters in 2022 has been developed; compiled and processed a list of chemical reagents and materials necessary for the realization of scientific works during the scientific expedition and processing of the collected samples; scientific equipment has been prepared for use during the scientific expedition; 3) Forms have been developed for collecting and organizing metadata and recording the quantity of collected samples.
