Confirmation of the level of foreign language proficiency is necessary for successful study and further professional development. The object of the study is the formation of theoretical and methodological support for the preparation of applicants for the EMI in English for admission to educational programs of the second (master's) level of higher education. The subject of the study is a set of theoretical, methodological and applied provisions for preparing for the EFL. The purpose of this study is to improve the theoretical and methodological support of preparation for the EIE in English for admission to educational programs of the second (master's) level of higher education. The research methods are literature analysis method, content analysis method, synthesis method, methods of contextual and lexical and grammatical analysis. The combination of these research methods will allow us to get a more complete picture of the process of preparation for the EIE in English and use this information for further development and improvement of theoretical and methodological support. Practical significance of the results: providing applicants with intensive preparation for successful passing of the EMI in English for admission to study for a master's degree on the basis of a higher education degree (specialist's degree). The performance indicators were achieved taking into account the economic benefits (reduction of the preparation time for the exam) and social benefits (improvement of the quality of the level of training of applicants).
