The main regularities of geological and geochemical processes occurring in the storage systems of uranium industry wastes are determined; new data were obtained on the possibility of bacterial leaching of off-balance ores from albitite deposits of the Ukrainian Shield; a mathematical model of dust pollution in the southeastern outskirts of the city of Kropyvnytskyi (in the area of ​​the long-term functioning of the Ingul uranium mine) was developed according to climatic and technogenic-anthropogenic indicators; modeling of the kinetics of leaching of macroions from the materials of the tailings of the Pridneprovsky chemical plant was carried out; the main sources of environmental pollution during the extraction of uranium by the method of underground borehole leaching were determined; the impact of waste storage facilities on the environment was assessed and directions for optimal waste management were proposed. Compiled an interim scientific report. The work has scientific-theoretical and practical significance.
