In the first section of the submitted report «Cultural and artistic processes in the social and humanitarian discourse of Ukraine» the state of development of the problem in its theoretical and applied aspects is analyzed; modern priority areas of cultural and artistic activity are determined; problems and tasks of humanitarian policy in the spheres of education, culture, science, and tourism were considered; the effectiveness of the scientific and methodical material proposed by the teachers regarding the modernization of the educational process of the Department of Cultural Studies is substantiated; the theoretical value of the research work of scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Cultural Studies in the social and humanitarian discourse of Ukraine is determined.
