The purpose of the NDR is research on establishing the values of the properties of the created standard sample in the field of thorium-232 ionizing radiation (Th-232) in accordance with DSTU-Н ISO Guide 35:2018 and DSTU ISO 17034:2020 for use in the field of legally regulated metrology. The subject of the study was the study of the characteristics of the homogeneity and stability of the material required for the creation of a standard sample of thorium-232 (Th-232), as well as the determination of the activity values of the created standard sample for use during the verification of legally regulated measuring equipment. Standard samples (reference materials) are used in the production and non-production spheres of society to transfer the size of units of quantities to the reference means of measuring equipment to ensure the unity and traceability of measurements. The final scientific and technical report sets out the results of the conducted scientific studies, which are necessarily performed during the creation of standard samples, including experimental studies of homogeneity, stability, as well as establishing the activity values of the material of the standard sample being created.
